What’s something small that makes your day way better? A good laugh. I am sarcastic, self-deprecating, and more than happy to poke fun at myself. No matter how busy or stressful the day gets, a little humor always makes it better.
If your personality had a theme song, what would it be? “Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons. I have always been someone who is willing to work hard, push through challenges, and do whatever it takes to achieve the goal.
Memorable moment at the school. The Halloween party/trick or treating has always been one of my favorite moments at the school. I love seeing the children in their costumes, but it is also the excitement from the families, board members, teachers, and staff that makes the day so special. There is so much joy throughout the school, and it is one of those moments that truly captures the spirit of the Frankie Lemmon community.
You’re hosting a dinner party – what’s on the menu and what 5 guests are joining? I would start with a seafood raw bar featuring shrimp cocktail, salmon sashimi, yellowfin crudo, and king crab legs. Next would be a great salad with vinaigrette, perfectly ripe tomatoes, and avocado.
Then we would move into a pasta course with cacio e pepe, Bolognese, and pesto orecchiette. There would absolutely be a hot dog course with truffle fries before the main course of grilled pork chops and roasted chicken, broccoli, and sautéed spinach.
For dessert, we would have chocolate cake with buttermilk vanilla icing. Then, much later in the evening, Domino’s thin crust pizza would make an appearance.
My guests would be my husband, Adam, our daughter, Belle, and our sons, Hayes and Lanier. I would also have to bend the five guest rule because their plus ones would definitely be invited too.
What are you reading? My reading preferences are all over the place. I recently listened to Claude AI for Beginners, which was a great way to take in that type of information. As for paperback, I just finished Abby Offsides by Anna McCallie. I am always a sucker for a sweet rom-com.
