The Frankie Lemmon Golf Classic is being hosted at the beautiful Country Club at Wakefield Plantation on October 19th, 2026!

This event is a testament to the enduring efforts of Ed Shook and Ralph Lang Sr., spanning 61 years, in establishing a community golf event to support preschool and kindergarten children with special education needs. The fundraiser plays a pivotal role in sustaining the Frankie Lemmon School, which was inaugurated in 1965 and has expanded to accommodate 100 children in the upcoming school year, marking the addition of first and second-grade classrooms for the first time in its history. All proceeds from the Frankie Lemmon Golf Classic contribute to defraying the cost of education and therapies provided free or of little charge to Frankie Lemmon students and families. Given that public school system funding covers only a third of the actual costs to operate the school, this golf tournament, along with other fundraising endeavors, ensures the education and support of the children and families we serve.
