As Resource Development Manager for the Frankie Lemmon Foundation, Amy believes there’s something truly special about bringing people together to create brighter futures for children and families. Her passion for philanthropy began with a college internship, where she discovered the joy of connecting generous people with causes that change lives. Since that internship in 2009, Amy has dedicated her career to helping nonprofit organizations in the Triangle build meaningful relationships with donors and partners who share a commitment to making a difference. She joined the Frankie Lemmon Foundation in 2023 and considers it a true privilege to connect supporters with the life-changing work happening every day at Frankie Lemmon School, finding daily inspiration in the generosity, compassion, and unwavering commitment of the Frankie Lemmon community whose support makes it possible for more children of all abilities to learn, grow, and thrive, both today and for generations to come.

Favorite way to spend a day in Raleigh: A snow day! Snow makes me happy anytime, anywhere. But there’s something magical about snow days in Raleigh. The whole city seems to press pause as neighbors come together, parents become kids again, and everyone steps away from technology to enjoy a blanket of snow that might disappear by tomorrow. It feels like the world collectively decides everything else can wait, and every family receives the unexpected gift of time together. It’s a kind of magic that’s fleeting; not the snow itself, but the permission to slow down and simply enjoy it together.
