Chef Caroline Morrison is a North Carolina native and co-owner of the Raleigh-based plant-based restaurant, The Fiction Kitchen. Frustrated by a lack of vegetarian options in the South, she pursued a culinary degree from Wake Technical Community College and opened the restaurant in 2013 with her business partner and wife, Siobhan Southern. Morrison is also a 2019 James Beard Women’s Entrepreneurial Fellow who recently moved The Fiction Kitchen to Gateway Plaza off Crabtree Blvd to accommodate growth and outdoor dining.
