My wife asked me to move to the Napa Valley as a young man of 28 years in 1978. It required a change of careers and a lot of risk for a man with a small family. When the choice was made, there was no turning back. At that time, Napa Valley was just beginning its growth in the wine world as well the culinary world. Fast forward 32 years and 33 harvests and I have a life that has been blessed by winemaking and the people I have the luxury to work with. 

My son was exposed to all aspects of winemaking growing up. As a young man in the Napa Valley, winemaking was just a job and the Napa Valley was just a place. But when he got older and he became more traveled, he began to appreciate what his home town and Napa Valley can offer. He became interested in winemaking and wine. I was blessed again and had something else in common with my son. He has developed a great palate, energy, and passion for wine. Euclid wines are a joint venture of the experience of winemaking and the next generation that questions why we do it that way. A partnership at its best.
