Though the Smith families lineage dates back to Jeff’s move to St. Helena as a toddler in 1964, Jeff would later turn the 4 acre vineyard of his parents into a bonafide Cabernet site by 1997. Almost 30 years later, 2 Estate Vineyard sites and a varietal count greater than the original 100% Cabernet, Hourglass represents a continuous vision unfolding.
