Liquid Farm was founded in 2009, by Jeff Nelson, with the goal of producing old-world inspired Chardonnays from California’s Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Having spent his career representing Champagne houses, Jeff fell in love with white Burgundies and the diversity of style Chardonnay can achieve. Liquid Farm began producing Pinot Noirs, to compliment their Chardonnay program, in 2014 and launched their Grand Cru Champagne collaboration in 2021. 
 
Liquid Farm strives to craft balanced, food-friendly, and ageable wines that showcase the terroir of California’s Sta. Rita Hills. They seek out organically farmed grapes, ferment with native yeasts, and use minimal amounts of new oak to further demonstrate this terrific region.
