We are delighted to introduce you to Memento Mori, our boutique wine brand in Napa Valley that specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from a collection of Napa Valley’s most acclaimed vineyards – Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Beckstoffer Las Piedras, Weitz Vineyard, Oakville Ranch and Vine Hill Ranch. We meticulously craft four Cabernet Sauvignon wines each year, and our annual production is less than 1,500 cases. Our ‘Flagship’ wine combines Cabernet Sauvignon from these five historic vineyards. In addition, we also produce three rare single-vineyard Cabernets that are made available to mailing list clients over time with an active allocation history. With each vintage, our goal is to combine elegance, power, aromatics, and texture to create beautifully balanced wines that are approachable in their youth, but have enough structure to cellar for long term aging.  

Founded as a passion project back in 2010 by three childhood friends, Adriel Lares, Hayes Drumwright, and Adam Craun, they lovingly named the brand Memento Mori as a reminder that since nothing in life is guaranteed, we all need to “Remember to Live,” an ethos taken from an ancient Latin philosophy that reminds us of our mortality, and consequently how precious life is.
