RARECAT Wines owner and winemaker, Sharon Kazan Harris, fell in love with elegant wines when she was 20 years old and studying French at the University of Bordeaux. She toured Chateau Haut Brion – producer of one of the greatest wines in the world – led by the legendary Monsieur Delmas (Senior) himself. He offered her a tasting of the renowned 1982 vintage out of the barrel, followed by the 1966 – and her life changed forever. 
 
RARECAT Wines was born in 2008 and produces ultra-premium, limited production wines in four best-in-class regions: Napa Valley, Russian River Valley, Champagne, and Bordeaux. Our California-born, University of Bordeaux wine-educated winemaker-owner blends the best of Old World and New World to achieve a rare elegance and balance that defines the RARECAT style.
